Sorry to hear that iraya01, appears that other people is having the same issue, so it may be facebook website is the problem. Perhaps they are upgrading servers to fix some issues.

Another possible cause may be some security added to their login. You may need to be sure cookies are enabled in your computer. Try using a different web browser.

If you are able to login into your account from another computer, it's a good idea to check you computer for viruses and other badware. If you don't have a antivirus, run MRT (microsoft removal tool) or windows defender (can be downloaded from microsoft website).

First, you have to click logout.

Then go back to facebook.com, it will prompt you to login your email address and password. Uncheck "Keep me logged in".

Facebook does seem to have a lot of bugs with it, but no fear, FixYa is here! First, try deleting your browser's cookies and history. To do this, your browser should have a "Tools" drop down list. From there, go to "Options" or "Settings." Then, you will find an option to delete cookies/history. You can also specify as to which cookies/history preferences you like. After you have done that, restart your browser and try again. If it still doesn't work, try and make sure you have the latest Adobe Flash and Java versions installed. Lastly, if all of that doesn't work, it's safe to assume that Facebook is having some technical difficulties with their servers and web application, and any problems should be resolved within an hour.

If you have lost the facebook password you can recover the password using the forgot password option....just prove your identity and you will be sent a link to the password reset option via the email or the registered phone number.you can also recover the password using the security question you have assigned for facebook,.If you believe that you have not forgot the password then still its better that you give the reset password a go.....
