* extract the file and open it. *
enter your mobile's 15 digit IMEI nos. located at the back of the
mobile or just simply typ *#06# (the imei/serial will appear)
* press calculate
* enter the given code that flashes on screen to your mobile (security code)
Try this:
Go to Settings > Network Settings > Network Mode and make sure Dual Mode is selected, if not select it by pressing the Ok button and choose Dual Mode.
Also go to Settings > Network Settings > Operator Selection and verify if Automatic is selected or not.
If both the above methods don't help, restore the phone to it's default settings. Go to Settings > Factory Default or Restore Factory and select it to proceed, if you are asked to enter security code, use 12345 (by default).
If this doesn't work, I think your phone has some problem or your phone is locked to some or one network. Try another sim card and see if it works or not.
Note: The sequence I've mentioned above to enter the select settings are general for Nokia, it might be a little different or the name of the options might be different. Hope you'll get it somehow. If you have problem, let me know.
Good Luck.
Thanks for using FixYa.
