My personal
suggestion would be to go for these repair catalogs. I know this website reliable-store.com that I used to buy them from, and they have online it was very good manual. Go ahead, I bet.

Sorry, I can't help you. This is the area for asking questions about computer monitors, not washing machines. You clicked the wrong link.
Look at the top of the page, click the Westinghouse link and then on washing machine. Enter your question there.

SOURCE: Kenmore Washer 70 Series - sheets stuck around agitator

The transmission probably stripped the worm gear that drives the drum - you would have to crack it open and take a peek.

SOURCE: Clothing stuck under the agitator

Hold the agitator steady and the very top end will screw off. If very old it will be stuck pretty tight, but do not break it. Then the agitator will lift straight up.

I have a couch cover stuck in the washer- it is under the spinning wheel. Help- I do not want to destroy the cover. thanks

Remove the cap on the agitator with a flathead screwdriver. There is a bolt down inside the agitator that you remove and then lift the agitator out to remove the cover.

Clothes are caught under the agitator. How can I

Remove the top part of the agitator or the cap and you should find a bolt in the center. Remove the bolt and pull up on agitator.

98702 is not the model # of the machine. you should find the model # either on top of the machine or in the dryer door area around the frame.

Kenmore washer agitator

Remove the agitator cap and the bolt in the middle that holds the agitator. Reach underneath the sides of the agitator and pull up. Try gently rocking it around as you pull, I'm sure it's going to be stuck pretty tight.
Good luck!
