Getting rid of a blue vertical line on my lg flatron w1943ss monitor

Press down one of your palms against the base, then at the same time, pull the chin of the monitor upwards.

Hi My screen developed exactly the same problem. It appears to be a hardwear problem associated with the screen it's self. continuity test is ok on the lead so I took it back to the shop under warranty and hey presto, the replacement works. I don't know what the problem is but there are a number of other folks on another thread with the same problem and their entries are dated May 09 too.  Dave

have u checked the internal fuse take the back off and look for a glass fuse

It could just need the print heads cleaning or aligning
If you are not sure contact the shop you purchased your printer from it is under warrenty for 12 months
