Could this be a pump defect? The water exits quickly and then trickles for a long time.
First, have someone put the washer up in the air, level, and have someone look underneath it whilst it is running , to see if there is a hole in the plastic piping or the exiting hose.
The reason I say so its that I have been in the appliance repair business for too many years to count, and I never, (up until now), heard of "routing it out"
I would wonder it that job managed to rupture something.
Also remember the exit pipe must always have a " U " bend that is higher than the back of the washing machine to retain the water in the drum.
God bless your efforts.
SOURCE: won't drain
The drian could be plugged or the pump could have an obstruction. Did you just install a garbage disposer? If you did you may need to knock out the plug in the disposer. Hope this helps
SOURCE: ERROR CODE E20
Just fixed mine, only I did not have to take it all a part. Just tip it over and reached in thru the opening in the bottom. Took the clamp loose with a phillips screwdriver and pulled the rubber off that contains the filter. Stuck my hand in the opening and pushed up on the filter from the bottom on the rubber container. Out came the filter and I cleaned it and pushed back down inside until it was past the lip that held it in place. Works great, took about 10 mins., not bad for a woman, huh. Thanks for the info, could not have done without your diagram and information.

SOURCE: Water Leak in Passenger Side Floor Vent Area after car wash
Unless this happens in the rain as well, I would not worry about it. Likely in the car wash, far more water is coming in than the normal drain system can handle, therefore causing it to overflow. If you do have a drain obstruction, find the drain hose (small right angle hose on firewall passenger side) and roll it in your fingers to clear it.

more than likely the pump is clogged if you pull the the washer out away from the wall and then lean it back to get under it there is a hole to access the under side you can reach through to the pump then disconnect the large hose that goes from the tub to pump reach down inside of this hose remove the cup that has debris in it and clear it out remove the debris and reassemble the washer
