the email is your username that is attached to the password if you have updated your accounts to a new email your icloud access should work if you didnt then notify provider for assistance

It's not as simple as being the address and password that is incorrect it could be that the IMAP or POP settings are incorrect.

All these settings need to be correct before you can send or receive emails.

If in doubt speak to your email supplier.

This is a very hard question to answer without me actually being there to see how it is configured at the moment. If you go into settings, email, calendars, etc, look to see if your password is configured correctly. iOS email is not hard to troubleshoot, but one must be there to see how it is configured now. Tell me this, is this a password issue? Do you need to change your email password? If you have an external email account that is added to the iPad, the password that you configured on your external account is the password you have to use on your iPad. Did you have find my iPhone turned on? If you did you could have erased your iPad that would remove the pass code that is on there now

You can only change you email password by logging into you email service provider account, go into their / your settings and update

You have to go into Settings -> Mail, calendar ... and add a new mail account as "Other". Put in your email address anywhere you see user name. Choose the POP type of account - IMAP won't work. Use the following for settings:

• incoming server: mail.nexicom.net
• user: your email full address
• password: your password
• outgoing server: outgoing.nexicom.net
• user: your full email address
• password: your password

Tap "Next" and it will likely fail and ask if you want to connect without SSL. Tap "Yes" and you should get all green checkmarks and mail should now work. :v)

You will need to setup a Exchange mail account on your ipad to receive all the mail and calendar items that you see on your Outlook mail and calendar.
Here is how to add an exchange account:
. From the Home Screen, tap Settings
2. Scroll down and tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars
3. Select Add Account > Microsoft Exchange.
4. Now type into the following information:

* Email: your email address
* Username: your-Exchange-User-name
* Password: your-mail-password
* Description: It's Optional
* Server: ****.com

For your username, and server names, you will need to contact your company's IT department for the credentials. But your username is the one your IT dept. gives you for email access and password. exchange server name is the server address to access your mail.
