From the drawing it looks to just lift off. If anything spilled on it then it might be stuck in place but I do not see any clips holding it in

SOURCE: Broken Optibin door on LG refrigerator

I got a new bin from repairclinic.com, but the little nubs that hold the bin onto the door (in the thin plastic lining of the door itself) are snapping off. Sigh.

SOURCE: Mod# RFG297AA:Need to remove the freezer section or handle/latch

there are two screws on each side of the bottom freezer unit you need to remove. they can be removed after de-installing the front bin with the two plastic sleeves on the right and left. Then you can remove the bottom drawer door and the bins inside. next, open both top doors and angle the fridge with one door inside the door frame, then "walk" the fridge over the doorstoop, turning towards the inside door as you push. Follow thru with the rest of the unit, then re-attach the bottom drawer.

You need to remove the freezer door and basket. then remove the rails on both sides. then there is a panel at the back of the freezer. Pull at the top part of the panel and it will come out.

I have a LG model LFX25960ST refrigerator with an error code of FF. I know this means the freezer fan, but is that one of the fans located in the freezer? When looked up online, neither of those two fans...

yes, its located on the freezer; behind the rear wall. yours has 2 fans; one for the ice cube room (upper left corner) and the fridge/freezer motor (in middle) behind rear freezer wall. this is the motor you will need. the part number should be on it.

Door display shows eror code FF

This means your freezer fan is not working and you'll need to replace it. It's one or two small plastics fan that sits behind your freezer drawer. It's located behind one of the two wall panels behind your freezer drawer. They circulate the air flow throughout, one for your refridgerator and the other for freezer. I had to have both replaced and now my line holder in the bottom back right side of my refrigerator is leaking, so I had to shut off my water until we find the part number. Good Luck! I know I'll need it because my wife has all LG in the kitchen including a flat T.V and 2 microwaves.

The refrigerator section is not cooling

Don't know if you have had this fixed yet, however LG did have a frosting problem with some of their units. The fix was in the main board, programing change, get a new board and it should solve the problem. Another problem that may occur is a build up of ice that can block the fan. Cut off the excess insulation as in the picture and that will solve that problem as well.
