Bosch Logixx 8 Washing Machine Powers OFF Itself Randomly Then Starts Again During The Cycle

I have a 7 years old Bosch WAS32742AU/08 washer, it will wash, rinse then will power itself OFF with nothing on the display when it reaches the softening cycle where it begins to fill water, there is about 10mins left in the cycle. I can turn the dial OFF then back to the same program to resume the cycle, it will start filling with water again in the softening stage and power off again. I've checked the water level pressure switch hose and cleaned the chamber, I dont't think there is a problem with that because it works during the cycle until the softening stage. I can run and complete the Drain only cycle, Rinse only cycle, Spin only cycle and 15min Quick cycle without interruptions. It's only programs that has the Softening part of the cycle it powers off when filling water in the middle dispenser compartment during the softening stage where Valve 1 and Value 2 are open. I don't even use softener and the compartment is clean. The current work around is when it Powers OFF during softening, I turn the dial to OFF then select the rinse only cycle to complete the washing. I got into the Valve test mode and found that Value 1 and Valve 2 tests are OK individually but when it V1 and V2 are both ON to fill the middle softener dispenser compartment it wont stop filling and eventually the machine powers off. I posted a video of the test here: https:/ / streamable dot com/n1gw6 https:/ /player dot vimeo dot com/video/264199360 EDIT: The symtoms has deteriorated. Now it stops and powers itself OFF randomly during the cycle even on the Spin only and Rinse only cycles. When it powers OFF if I leave it for long enough it will power itself back ON again and continue and then it might power off and resume again until it finishes. Has anyone experienced this problem before? I went into test mode and it will power itself off during spin only test, valve only test and heater only test. Could it be a faulty Interference Capacitor (mains filter)?

SOURCE: Washing machine drain problem

you know, it sounds not like a mechanical issue. Sounds like your control circuitry is off kilter..

SOURCE: Top loading washer that won't aggitate, or rinse.

without knowing more details, and considering it's age , my guess is that you have a disconnection (or a loose wire) to the solenoids under the tub. these solenoids activate the clutch system that pulls it into agitate and spin modes. it might be the solenoids, but rarely do both go out at the same time. it might be the timer contacts or connections behind the control panel. or, it might be the timer its self.
try unplugging the unit and check all the connections.
hope this helps jay

SOURCE: I have a Miele W1918 washer which has worked

I have exactly the same problem. I am currently getting around the issue by letting the machine do the washing then at the end of that cycle do a manual rinse cycle.

SOURCE: Cold water will not stop filling during rinse

My washing machine is F&P MW512, it cannot fill up cold water properly, just drip. I need to turn on the tap for the tub for a few second, then it properly fill. After one cycle, it happen again. Is it something wrong with the water pressure?

Why is F16 code flashing up on my bosch avantixx washer dryer

The door is not locked properly.
Open and close the door again and press the "start reload" button (play and pause button). If necessary, open the washing machine door, remove some of the cothing items and then push the door closed again. You can also try switching the washing machine off and on again, setting the programme and then starting the programme.

Bosch Washing Machine Softener Tray not emptying

You need to replace the cold water inlet valve. If the machine is older than one year it may be clogged on the side that moderates the cold water to the bleach and softener compartment. Replacing the valve fixed the problem. During the cycle when the softener dispenser fills it should fill quickly and no or little water should be seen in the soap dispenser area. If a lot of water goes into the soap dispense and little into the softener area the valve is clogged.

My Bosch washing machine (logixx 8) shows error code F37 and beeps

F37 is because of operating the unit below specified temperatures.

Pressing the temperature button twice shows a snowflake and sets a defrost function.
