Do you have any devices connected to the Encore wireless? If so, use this program, Wireless Key View: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/wireless_network_view.html You can reset the Encore to default setting and reconfigure the SSID and Security Key (password). You may want to write down the info for future use.
You could try uninstalling version 1.5. click start, and click on "control panel" on the start menu. When the control panel window opens, click on "add/remove programs" This will open a window with a list of programs installed on your computer. Find Encore Creating Keepsakes Scrapbook on the list. There may be listings for both versions. Click on the listing for v1.5, and it will expand. The expanded listing should include a button you can click on labeled "remove" or "Uninstal". Click on it and when a window opens to ask if you really want to remove the program, click on yes. It might ask you if you want to keep your saved files, click yes to that if you mind losing stuff you have saved using the program. You might have to install v3 again.
I just kept reading, searching the manual, finally found a list that is easier to read through than the chapters of the on-line manual and found where to split the staves. With the right program I figured out just from previous experience with my first Music Time I put the treble cleff sign over top of the bass sign. Splitting the staves took me longer to find out how to do it and I can't even tell you know how to do it.
Check settings of any third-party security suite/firewall. See if FTW
(FTM.exe) needs to be granted permission to access the internet. Also I belive there are update for that program diue to issues
You can actually do the system programing thru the phone itself, press the prog button above the display on the phone & go to system programing, you'll need the system admin code (try 1111).
Alternatively you can install a programing applicatrion on your pc & connect to the async port on the main control unit. The program applicaion would have been delivered with the system docs.
You need a capture card already in your computer (or a simply IEEE 1394 or a USB 2.0 port) depending on the quality of video you want. Then you need a capture program. For a low price, b ut still decent quality program you can use Adobe's Premiere. I like Premiere because it's VERY user friendly and a quick learning curve. Once you have the video captured (be sure you have enough disk space on your HDD (I have 4TB in external drives for video editing)) edit it how you want the final product to look, export the video to an AVI, open your Authoring program (I suggest 2 different angles: 1 (for EASY) either WinAVI or Nero VIsion, super simple program but the quality is lacking, or 2 (for the creative) Adobe Encore, high quality but it takes a little time to learn the software. Create a DVD Folder from Encore or any authoring software, burn thr folder using your Burn Software (i like Nero 7). Boom, you have a DVD.
