SOURCE: need IR code for Hisense 32" LCD tv to program

Are you referring to the iPhone/iPad app? if yes then this is not a remote app, it's a management app made for Comcast boxes and nothing else it doesn't controls tv's.
If you are referring to the actual remote for one of the Comcast boxes then it all depends on what model of remote you have and the exact model of your tv - some will support it thru the use of a Daewoo or Samsung code, others don't.
So you have 2 options:
1 - you try every Daewoo and Samsung code you have in the manual and if that fails you do a code scan on the remote as explained in the manual:
Turn on your TV
Press the TV button on the top of the remote, then press and hold Setup until the TV light blinks twice
Enter 9-9-1 and the TV button will blink twice
Press and release 1 and the TV button will blink twice
Point the remote at the TV, press and release the Power button, then press the CH+ button multiple times until the TV turns off
Press Setup once to lock in the code and the TV button will blink twice
If even that fails - the tv doesn't shuts down - then the remote is incompatible to the tv so
2 - you get a remote that is compatible with both. The only one i could find is

SOURCE: ABC iview app has loaded ok but will not allow a program to be selected.

Hello, maybe you need to uninstall the app, then install again, sometimes any file was corrupt; for another hand, it does not fix the problem you can contact the customer services of the ABC iview app.

Information on telstra tv2 regarding free programs

Things you can watch on Telstra TV 2 include:

  • All available Free To Air TV channels,
  • 9Now app
  • Plus 7 app
  • Tenplay app
  • ABC iView
  • SBS On Demand
  • Netflix
  • Stan
  • Foxtel Now
  • BigPond Movies
  • YouTube
  • Hayu (a streaming service dedicated to reality TV)
  • Red Bull TV

Be aware that you will need to organise a subscription to Netflix, Stan and Foxtel Now separately. You might also need to consider a new broadband plan if you plan on streaming a lot of TV from the internet.
Of course, with so many services together, the most difficult thing might be finding something to watch. To solve this the Telstra TV 2 has a universal search function. You punch in a keyword, like 'Batman', and it will search across the Live TV program guide, the BigPond Movie store, and the libraries of the various streaming services, and shows you all of the matching titles and where you can get them. It's a great system and it works well.
In general, the user experience is pretty good. The layout of each page is neat and tidy, and the navigation is straight forward. This is helped a lot by the smooth operation thanks to the upgraded computer inside

How can I remove DRM protection from downloaded abc iview (Australia) videos. Downloaded videos are unplayable because of the protection. I have tried many media players but none will play the videos

I don't think you can, or if you do you might get prosecuted.
This is what Wikipeadia says:
Unlike the ABC's podcasts, programs on the iview service are not officially downloadable and are only available to watch for a short time after the program has aired on the ABC. Previously, some individuals were able to reverse-engineer the method that the Flash application uses to request videos from the media streaming servers[15] to allow programs such as rtmpdump or flvstreamer to download the videos for offline playing[16] or watch them in another RTMP-supporting client (such as XBMC).[17]
In 2012 the ABC sent a legal notice to the author of an open source program called Python-iView which enabled users to download videos from the ABC.[18]
