Blue shadow I cannot adjust the blue gun part of the picture. the red gun adjusts, but there is a blue ghost that hangs above the transmitted picture(what is supposed to be the clear picture). It is like a blue ghost or shadow. When I try to adjust the convergence, the blue cross remains above or on top of where it is supposed to be. Also, the blue is slightly tilted, about 5 or 10 degrees. There is also a yellow stripe across the bottom of the screen that remains there all the time.

Your convergence has failed and needs to be repaired. Once quick test is to goto your convergence menu and see if you can adjust red and blue. If not its has failed and needs to be fixed. You can call in a repair shop or you can get the parts and instructions from www.TvRepairKits.com and do the repair yourself. Its a fairly easy DIY fix.

There is a manual focus adjustment above and between the red and green gun, located in the front of the TV behind the panel; It is a small black box about 3X3" . This has all three adjustments .

your guns are off and need to be adjusted. your 3 guns (red, green and blue) are off and that would explain the funny colors and shadows. Have a tv tech come out and have a look, they can fix it for a reasonable price.

It sounds like the red gun is off. Your tv uses three guns(red,green and blue) to make the picture. sometimes one of these guns shifts a little and the colors get messed up and there are shadows because the gun is still trying to make the image, it just doesnt line up. This is a pretty inexpensive problem that can be fixed by most any tv technician for a small fee. If your pretty confident in your electronics know how, google adjusting guns and your tv and that should yield something.

I have blue ghosts/shadowing at the top of the screen.

replace vertical IC and shadows/ghosting the problem is either electrolytic capcitor or video IC or convergence adjustment

Replace FL231 400ma fuse. this will fix your problem.

You are going to need a full convergance alignment to rectify this issue.
