If you can see a blackened coil it's going to have to be rewound by a motor shop (which is not cheap).

SOURCE: kipor 3000 motor runs fine but it will not make
open gen and check wires. take out capacitor and measure value. if damaged on the outside replace capacitor. most of the times this is a course. otherwise measure resistance on statorwindings and between statorwindings and earth.
