It's most likely your unit is no longer capable of working, as electronic devices do break, and nothing lasts forever. It certainly sounds like you've gotten your use out of the dinosaur that it is.
Time to get something modern and up to date.

Hi, I has this problem but I found in the user manual this instructions and works ok: 1. Press and hold the Start key.
2. While holding down the Start key, push the RESET button
on the bottom of the Organizer using a pen or some other
pointed object. The following message will appear.
"Do you really want to initialize the organizer's memory (this will delete all data)? Yes:[ENTER/No:[ESC]
3. Press to initialize the Organizer.
The message .Working... Please wait.. appears while the
Organizer proceeds with the initialization procedure.
The Welcome message then appears.

Friend, try to replace the battery. If it doesn't work try to press firmly the LCD connection interface underneath the screen because such unit has lossen connection.use T6 screwdriver to open the unit then slowly firmly press the LCD connector on the interface. Such thing will solve the problem. good luck
