Samsung LCD TV (Model UN65FH6001F) doesn't turn on? I have added more details in the below section.
Hi, This morning our TV didn't start. It was fine until last night, not sure what happened. We had a storm in our area last night, not sure if lightning has anything to do with it but that could be a coincidence as well. TV Model: Samsung LCD UN65FH6001F Symptoms: No power light is showing up when I click power button manually or using remote. If I unplug the power cable and put it back again, there is very slight light flicker on the screen and then within a less than second, it goes away. I believe that's the backlight tries to turn on and then stops. I turned off all lights in the room and tried to unplug the cable and put it back again, I noticed in the back of the TV, the backlight comes and goes away within a second. I am not sure what is the cause of TV not working and what should be the fix / what part should be replaced. Could you please help me with this issue and let me know what part I should buy to try it to fix my TV? Thanks in advance! Sam
I have the same problem. The only way to get the TV to come on is to unplug it, but once you get it back on it turns itself off again in a few minutes.

Sounds like Back - light problem. Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
To some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement. To some models sets, the back-light inverter and SMPS section circuit will be integrated at its main board itself. If so; the main board should be replaced. To some models of sets, all these section circuit will be integrated at its main board. If this is the case, you have to replace the main board.
Hi, Your TV have problem with its T-Con board. T-con board is one which drives the LCD Panel Pixels in rows and columns. As you didn't specified the brand and model number its not possible to give you the exact picture of T con board How its look like. You can find this board On the top center of the tv. Which will be covered with metal case or aluminium foil to avoid external interference. Here i have added a picture of T- Con board which used in Led Tvs.

Note: This particular model also has one additional step to perform besides the capacitors to fix it properly. There is some loose solder on a few parts that you will need to redo. So if you get a kit from Tv Repair Kits send them a remider that you have the HP-T4254 model so that you need the info on the other step.
