Question about Miscellaneous
I have researched this to ***** and there is no information on-line and my repairmen can't find the location either or the correct part #. I have two ice makers and water. Lower icemaker quit working and have done on of the trouble shooting. Samsung refuses to give me any information on this model and says go hire a Samsung Technician. We live in a small city and it will cost $100 just to get them here. The water supply connects in the middle of the Refrigerator about 3' off the ground. The Inlet Valve is not in the back of the refrigerator. Does anyone know the location or how to get to it and the part # for this Samsung Refrigerator Model? Greatly appreciate any help. Thank You
Go To www.repairclinic.com and enter RF323TEDBSR/AA. With luck, you will be presented with a list of common replacement parts/assemblies and may be able to view a generic Samsung video showing disassembly with part/assembly identification.

Testimonial: "Tom; Thanks for the suggestion and that is a good site, but my model displays at least 5 different water inlet valves. The video shows the valves in the lower back panel. I have nothing there so it is not helping with my specific model. There is 01 through 04 plus my model that does not have any number, just AA"
It's not the water valve

EASY FIX!!!!! And you don't even need to cut power. For bottom ice maker if the reset works but no water, just do this. Remove the 2 screws holding ice make in bottom pull out. You will need to remove the small bottom top draw Unplug 2 wire clips. Now on back of fridge unscrew the 2 screws holding the small black water line cover going to bottom ice maker. Then remove the internal 2 screws holding valve. No need to unscrew the water line. Slowly slide out the insulated water line. You may need to unscrew the hold down clamp holding the line in order to pull this out all the way. Its like 10-12" long. NOW... Look into end and you will see ice. Use a heatgun or hairdryer to heat up this unit untill all ice is gone. Ice will be a solid shaft. Make sure you can see all the way thru the unit before you finish. It is now clear. Replace everything in reverse order and hit reset. WaLa! Water and future ice!!!

Hi, The fitting either needs tightened or changed. Is this a brass or plastic fitting?
If the supply line is still ok and not brittle, you can go to your local hardware store and get the new fitting parts. If it is brass, be sure and get the brass insert that goes inside the tubing as well as the compression ring.
Please let me know if I can assist you further.

the valves they have now only have push locks. so the only thing you need to do is push the water line in and it should lock.
