on the touch keypad "dial" 1809#*365# to enter Engineering Mode and select 4-Master Reset. You'll lose everything stored ON THE PHONE but will retain SIM card stuff and of course SDMicro stuff. The phone itself will be in out-0f-the-box condition

Hi,

Try this

Dial *228 ,Then select option 1.This will reset the security code.That will be the last four digit of your phone number.

If this also doesn't work then you need to take the mobile to the nearest authorized service centre of LG and they will reset it.

How to do a factory reset on my LG Stylo 4 MetroPCS

From any home screen, tap Apps > Settings.
If in tab view, tap General.
Under PERSONAL, tap Backup & reset.
Select or clear the following check boxes:
- Back up my data
- Automatic restore

I factory reset data on my LG Stylo 2 and it now reads enter password on Startup

My lg did the same thing I had to call the mcaffee security hot line.
The 4 PIN number had to be reset buy them you will need to give them the email addres from when you set the phone up the first time. It's kindof a pain in the but. If you do a google search you will be able to find the support phone number.
