Alcatel raven lte,kept shutting off, turned it off all night, turned it on, said battery over heating, it was not hot, is it battery or phone ?

Hi,

I am afraid that your battery has malfunctioned. You will need to buy a new one. But before buying a new battery try leaving the battery out of the phone overnight, then try chargnig again.

The problem is with the electric contacts between the battery and the camera. You can try cleaning them with a clean pencil eraser. Make sure you don't leave any eraser debris in the battery compartment. It is best to do this while holding the camera so that the battery compartment door is "down" so that any eraser debris will fall out of the door onto the table rather than fall into the compartment.

You've ruined your blackberry to say the least. I used to have the blackberry pearl, your going to have to take it to a technician because you probably damaged some internal hardware. Your best bet is to take it to a technician to have it repaired, if they can even repair it, or buy a used blackberry from your cell phone company. Kinda sucks, but that is how they make there money- and get a touch case if you choose to get a new one. Swissgear is very very durable! Sorry your having a problem! Wish you the best of luck.

I'm on my 2nd rumour 2. Both now the camera has froze the phone where i have to take the battery out. Ive returned one, and now Im about to return the second one. Anyone else had this problem?
