SOURCE: in spin cycle, there is a loud metal on metal

Hi
Remove the drum belt, and spin drum by hand.
If it feels rough, or it is noisy, then drum bearigs have failed.
Please rate my solution.
thanks.

SOURCE: very loud rumbling noise during spinning

Could be unbalance load, but more likely the spindle bearings on the basket are bad, perhaps as a result of a bad grease seal

SOURCE: samsung vrt washer will begin cycle but get so far

You might have an object jammed in the pump housing. First thing you must do is to unplug the machine from the power outlet. You will then need to remove the back panel of the washer to access the pump. Disconnect the wiring from the pump and remove the two hoses by compressing the two clamps. ( Be ready for water to pour out of the hoses) Remove the three mounting bolts that hold the pump to the frame of the washer and remove the pump assembly. It is easier to work on the pump if you remove it from the mounting plate. Remove the three screws that hold the impeller housing to the pump motor. Seperate the two parts being careful not to damage the rubber o-ring that seals the unit. Inspect the impeller housing for any debris. (I found a nickle blocking the outlet port in mine). Remove anything you may find and reassemble in reverse order. The machine should reset itself and run as normal.
Good luck!

Samsung vrt front load washer WF218ANB/XA Burned up the drain pump. Installed a new one, now washer will work until the spin cycle. In spin cycle the door lock clicks and it will not drain or spin

Make sure the drain filter is not clogged. Most Samsung have an access door in the lower right hand corner to access and clean out this filter. If this is clogged or the drain hose is clogged, you will have these spin and drain problems.

Wash shakes on the spend cycle

I would check to make sure the washer is level, the drum sounds like it's not spinning evenly and if the load isn't unbalanced it might just not be level front to back and side to side.

What does LE mean on display panel of my Samsung vrt front load washer?

Le means there's a problem with filling. Check to be sure inlet hoses aren't kinked, and no blockage at the inlet, as well as water turned on.
