Wifi signal strong on my tablet but not on my lg 4k tv. Both are in the same room.

While it is possible your tablet has a software glitch it is equally possible the electronic circuitry that receives the wifi signal is broken.

If you are certain your internet router is producing a strong wireless signal it will be time to take your tablet in for service/repair or return it to the supplier if it is under warranty.

Try Switching Aeroplane mode off and on. Sometimes this helps reset network settings on your tablet.

Unfortunately for you you're going to need the login and password in order to get into that wifi. If you don't know what that is then try another wifi access point in the list. All wifi is not created equal even though it has a strong signal it still may require you to have the security key which for most of us is just called a password in order to get into the wifi access point. Strong is relative to your position and where the signal is coming from. If you don't have a wireless router in your location then the signal has to go through walls etc. either way it is not your wireless signal from what I gather from your post.

Go into your settings and wifi and click forget on the wifi connection instead of connect or retry and the connection will renew and then you can type in you password to you connection and it should fix the connection

Once you identify your wireless network (SSID) you must put in a "password" or network key.

check to see if it's doing MAC filtering(turned on) if so you need to add your mac address for the device

Did you check in wifi settings and make sure they are both picking up your wifi and not a neighbors?
