If your green light only comes on when hooked up to power (i.e. car charger unit, usb connector unit on PC) then you have the same problem I had. DEAD BATTERY. Search online for a new battery for the Tom Tom 910 and then search for the instructions to install the battery. That is what I just did today.

Try doing a device update while connected to tomtom home, if that doesnt work backup your device onto your commputer and try reinstalling the software and maps ect onto your device.

Hi my tom tom go910 wont turn on but the green light is on when its connected to the charger

First, check and make sure your battery is fully charged. Then try to do a "Reset" .... by pressing and holding down the ON/OFF button for 5 seconds (or a lot more) until the device powers on again. Yes, at times, it may take a minute or more ! of holding that button down.

Blank screen but green light is on

I have had this on my 910, It turns out that the motherboard needs replacing and after looking on here its quite common.

Its quite esay to replace and perhaps worth changing the battery whilst your in there as well.

Google for instructions or flick through this site.
