Dear Heemin,
From the wording which you have used, it appears you think you are talking to the DeLonghi company.
You are not.
You are speaking to "fixya:".
Please contact DeLonghi or one of it's dealers by finding their access information on your computer's search engine.
God bless your efforts.

SOURCE: Dehumitifier wont condense water

This happened to me after the unit was turned on after being off all winter. I've had it just two years. After speaking with "support" I gather that it needs a new condenser, perhaps just because the freon may have escaped. It may be a sealed unit. Anyway, the math works out to simply discarding it and buying a new one. For me, this means not buying a DeLonghi. By the way, their service centers are strategically placed in remote areas to attract the fewest claims HD

SOURCE: My DeLonghi dehumidifier model DE500P is tripping the breake

the motor is tight, (can't turn) lubricate the motor bearings with light machine oil. retest. rust causes this. the motor "tries" to turn, more power is needed, still can't turn, power exceeds safe limits: breaker trips.

SOURCE: i have Delonghi DE500P dehumidifier was running

Hi,

First, make sure the humidistat isn't set too high by adjusting it to the lowest humidity setting and running it again. Next, test the dehumidifier by placing it in a closed bathroom with a hot shower running. If you don't see water collecting in the unit after several minutes, turn the unit off and clean all dehumidifier filters and coils. If, after adjusting the settings and cleaning the unit, you still don't see water collecting, you may have a refrigeration issue. This situation will have to be addressed by a qualified technician.

Good luck

SOURCE: DeLonghi DE500p quit. Won't light

I am glad to HELP YOU!

If the light doesn't work while plugged in that means the compressor is out and it has to be replaced.
Anyway I've found for you the components HERE [the drawing can be printed and you can show it to an electrician if you will decide to fix your device...] and above the drawing, in BLUE, you have a link [called OWNER'S MANUAL] to the... manual, of course. It's downloadable in PDF format [you will need Adobe Reader to visualize it].
Or you can take the manual from HERE and the Adobe Reader from HERE.

I wish you all the best!

Condensate pump buzzes but does not remove water. have blown out discharge hose and clean check valve with changing symptons. Should I give up and put it on a box and buy a separate condensate pump or...

Edwin, according to the Owner's Manual, when this happens the drain hose is not connected properly. Turn the unit OFF and unplug it, then disconnect the hose and reconnect it. Plug the unit back in, Turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to ON and press the pump button. If the hose is connected properly, the pump should tunr on and pump the water out.

To help you further, I have included a link to the Owner's Manual for a Delonghi model like yours. Once you go to that page, click on the Acrobat Reader Icon and download the Owner's Manual. You may print it is you like.

De500p dehumidifier pump stopped working, help!!!

I only got as far as disconnecting the filter between the small water bucket and the pump. I was able to get the pump working again after I cleaned the water bucket and filter by flushing them repeatedly with fresh water. The lines after the pump contained cloudy water, but I figured since the pump was able to push it out past the pump already, it shouldn't cause problems this far down. It saved a lot of time and hard work not having to disconnet the rest of the tubing or take the water bucket off. I also realized if I disconnet the first water collection tubing from just under the front panel and point the open end down, all the water in the bucket flows out. This part is so easy to get to. Just pull out the big collection tank and it's right there on the left toward the back. I can do this every week! Maybe then nothing will sit long enough in the small water bucket to turn into any kind of filter-clogging material.
