Turn off or unplug your Blu-ray player. Unplug your modem (and your wireless router, if it's a separate device) from power for 30 seconds. Plug in your modem and wait until no new indicator lights are blinking on.

First check your internet connection. If that is not an issue, try to connect to Netflix on another device.

If none of this works and netflix displays an 'error code' , simply paste this into google like so -

I recommend powering down your streaming device, computer etc.

Power off the router by unplugging the device, but leaving the cable attached. Leave this powered down for 5 minutes. Plug device back on and allow the all lights to power on. Than attempt to connect to Netflix again.

You need to update your software (TV/DVR and the netflix app)
