SOURCE: wiring a ceiling fan with a remote sensor

since you have a remote, you don't need that extra wiring for the light/fan. just wire nut it off.
the switch at wall has 2 switches but only one will work now.

SOURCE: Hunter ceiling fan remote problem

You will most likely need to replace the receiver with a new one from hunter. The receiver is actually a complete controller and contains the receiver, relays (which you hear clicking) and starting condensors(large capacitors which hold a charge that is "dumped" over the windings to get the motor to start from a dead stop). These appear to be pretty tightly assembled unless you have a desire to start replacing parts "off the board."

SOURCE: Hunter fan wiring

sounds like one of your connections is loose. Im not sure if i completely understand your description of how you re-hoked up your fan. Please tell me how many wires your fan has and colors and how many wires you have on the sensor remote. (lots of times if you draw a wiring diagram on paper you can figure it out) Basically you should have power coming from ceiling to remote sensor. Then the remote sensor should throw the power to either the fan or the light, so there should be two seperate leads coming out of the remote sensor to control either the fan or the light independantly.

SOURCE: Hunter ceiling fan remote 85095-01 stopped working

it also could be one of the the jumpers fell out of the remote
they are located just above the battery. you will need to match the placement of the jumpers with the receiver mounted in the fan.

I have a Hunter ceiling fan with a remote control model number 85095. The remote will turn the fan on and off and change the speeds but it will not turn the light on or off anymore. Any help?

Make sure the wires to the light kit are connected to the light & light wire connected in ceiling. If that's not your problem then you probably need a new receiver. Call 1-888-830-1326 and have your FAN model handy.Should be a five digit number beginning with a 2.

52 inch hunter ceiling fan with remote, making clicking noise

does the fan wobble at high speed? if so change the order of the blades to try & balance it.i.e. number the blades on a piece of tape on each--switch blade # 1 & #3-better or worse? 2&5;better or worse?etc. untill it runs smoothest.

Hunter 52" ceiling fan model 23457-380, the remote lights up

check the hard wiring from the factory. Where the light kit attaches to the fan check the wires in the factory cubes to make sure none are coming off. I had a similar problem that kicked my **** for a few minutes but I saw a loose wire after a bit of research. My fan also clicked but never turned on. Also pull the chains on the fan/light to make sure they are on. Hope something works for you.
