My LG smartphone just went blank, I removed battery and inserted it again and tried charging it but it just shows LG logo then goes blank again... What to do?

this generally indicates a bad battery, try to purchase a replacement battery
if this does not fix the problem, then sorry to say, but the phone is shot, it is older now

try buying a new battery maybe the battery is no longer holding it's charge

to solve this problem. Remove battery from phone keep aside then connect charger to phone and power on let the phone display a battery with an ! mark over it then remove charger and replace battery and switch on. You are done. ([email protected])

Can you see the power and antenna strength bars before it blacks out?

Leave it to charge for at least a half hour before trying it again.

Leave it on the charger while you're trying. Try another charger/outlet.

Remove the battery for a minute or three and then put it back together and try again.

Further suggestions would depend on results and any other symptoms.

Hi i have htc g1 mobile and i have a problem with the start-up when I tried to turn on the mobile the first logo was T.Mobile G1 and than it turned on to the second logo androd.after those two logo a blank screen came and near the battery it came warm and on the screen nothing happens.

If you've set a password on your smartphone, any hard reset will automatically become a Factory Reset. With this method, you'll enter a password and then perform a hard reset.
On your smartphone, launch the Security application.
2.If the Password box says "Unassigned," tap the box and create a password for your smartphone.
3.Once the password has been set, disconnect your smartphone from the AC charger and take off the battery cover. Do not remove the battery yet.
4.Hold down Power/End .
5.While holding down Power/End , remove the battery. Then insert it again.
6.While still holding Power/End , the screen will show the Palm logo and a progress bar. Then the circular Palm Powered logo will appear. Release the power button when you see the Palm Powered logo.
Keep holding the Power button during this screen. When you see this screen, you can release the Power button.
7.A message will appear warning that you are about to erase all the data stored on your smartphone. Press UP.
8.If you performed this reset correctly, the screen will go blank after several minutes, and you will not be able to turn on your device. The charging LED will not light up. remove the memory card and try it work's properly. after u just insert the memory card i likely to be working.. better u need to format the memory card..

My phone had the same problem and it was a battery charge problem. I bought an external charger and another battery and now everything works fine but I have two batteries and an external charger, the phone doesn't charge the batties.

It seems like its broke and dropping is not under manufacturers warranty either.
