What’s the make and model of your machine? What did you use to de scale it?

I had this happen once and had to put it through the descale process again. Just put more water in the tank, try it again and see what happens.

You've done it all correct but before you add the solution (making sure to remove the filter), try holding the descale button down for over three seconds. As long as the FILTER NO is your filter setting, this should work. You may want to try to descale more often in the future but hopefully this helps you get started NOW. Best of luck!
If the machine is digital you will go into the menu and reset the option that says signal descale. The machine does not know if you descaled it or not, you will have to tell it.
If it is not digital, hold the steam or descaler button(depends on model) down until the light goes off.
