It should be used on a 20 amp circuit. the 15 amp is the maximum your circuit will deliver. on startup it may exceed the limit. also your circuit may or may not deliver the power for a sustained time. do not use extension cord small than 12 gauge
Very helpful. Not sure about the rating system on this site but this was a great answer and I got it very quick. I also think that there may have been some packaging or something inside that caused extra stress when I first tried it. That seems to be gone now and it is working fine on the 15 amp service, although the blades seems to deteriorate quickly, as I am already getting marks in the output that look like they are from nicks in the blade. I am surprised to see this in the first couple of hours of use. Thanks
Try making about 1/32 cut per pass, even though it says it can cut more. iv the wood has knots that is ******* blades, wood like hard maple is really ******* blades. I have a Rockwell Milwaukee production planer ( about 250 lbs) , and you can push it hard, I still make light cuts. once a blade is nicked it will leave mark on the wood, but can be sanded out. Play with the planer and you find out that it has snip cuts on the end, feed a scrap piece in as the desired piece is getting close it will help. save money and buy an accurate hook rule to measure thickness, not tape measure. Good luck and have fun. your wife may not to happy with the wood chips on the floor. send me a picture of your work. [email protected]

Look for loose connections thru out the 15 amp circuit. A loose or bad, or dirty electrical connection offers resistance and consumes power dissipated as heat, and a voltage dry to the load. Heat would be sensed at loose connections when under load.
Correct any loose, dirty connections and splices.
Are the machine and voltage source the same rating?
SOURCE: GE Spacesaver microwave trips the circuit breaker
Since power = voltage X current, 1.58kW / 120VAC = 13.166A
So this unit should be fine on a 15A breaker unless the breaker is bad, the wiring or a connection is loose somewhere between the breaker and the microwave, or the microwave's magnetron or high voltage transformer are failing and drawing extra current.
Microwaves should really be on the own separate breaker if at all possible. Plus, the more a breaker trips, the more work out it gets.
Have you measured the voltage at the outlet? If that's off, current and power will be affected. It should be about 110-125VAC.
A good power test for outlet and wiring integrity is a toaster, toaster oven, or hair dryer rated at about 1500 watts.
If it doesn't run and heat steadily, then there may be a problem with the house wiring or breaker.
If it passes this test, the problem is likely in the microwave.
We're happy to help and we appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.
SOURCE: Refrigerator cools as normal. Trips 15 AMP circuit breaker.
a full size refrige has to be on a 20 amp circuit, a 15 amp is just not big enough.. you should also know that this circuit has to be on a 12-2 gauge wire.. I also highly recommend installing a 20 amp HD receptacle

look for a reset button on the compressor sometimes but not always is red in color but could be black also
SOURCE: Dewalt DW733 Bench top thickness planer How to change blades ?
OK you need to go to Dewaltservicenet.com and in the middle of the page at the bottom type in your model number it will take you to another page and then find your type number and click on the instruction manual section on the right side, I clicked on type 2. This manual is about 30 pages long. Let me know if you still need help and if I have helped could you please rate the answer accordingly. Good luck
SOURCE: Wiper fuse keeps blowing intermittently.
It looks like the wire circuit for the wiper motor is touching the car body when shaken so the only thing you can do is shake the wires and terminals yourself while engine is running then maybe you can pinpoint where the earthing is.
