Washer has error F11 code - and door locked and won't open.
SOURCE: Kenmore Elite 459724 - F11 code
Riostar, F11 is a serial communication error. Communication between the main board and the motor control board is not being sent correctly. This could be a bad main board, motor control board or motor itself. The testing can get pretty involved. Try putting the machine in a self test mode and see if the error clears. Press Cancell, then by pressing the drain spin button once on the left side then move to the spin speed button the the right. Press this button until no-spin lights. Press the prewash button 4 times. C00 should appear in the display. Let it run it's tests, there will be 8 of them and end up on C08. If this doesn't work, it's best you wait for the service tech. Catriver...post back.

F-11 ERROR CODE MEANS :
Serial Communication Error Communication between the Central Control Unit (CCU) and the Motor Control Unit (MCU) cannot be sent correctly.
TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM:
SOURCE: Maytag Neptune door lock stuck!!!
Try these steps:
1.) Take the washer outside. 2.) Loosen the two screws on the back panel and remove the back panel. The pump sits on the left-side of the opening. There's a black water hose with a metal clamp; 3.) squeeze the metal clamp with your fingers until it's loose enough to slide away from the pump. 4.) Separate the hose from pump and the trapped water will pour out and the door will then open; and 5.) clear any blockage from the drain hose and the pump.

Hi
Thanks for using FixYa. Error “fld” means a door
latch failure. This means that you’ll need to replace the door latch assembly
however before doing that you can leave the washer unplugged for 30minutes so
that it resets itself. In the meantime when it’s unplugged just inspect the
door latch wiring to ensure all the connector plugs are intact and not loose or
broken. You can access the door latch wiring harness by removing the top panel
of the washer. To remove the top panel just remove the three screws that hold
the panel in place in the rear of the washer. With the screws removed, the
panel will slide back, and then lift off. Locate the door latch assembly behind
the front panel on the right hand side. Trace all the connectors from the door
latch to the Central Control Unit (CCU) and make sure they are properly seated
at both ends. If after doing this still the issue is not resolved then
unfortunately you have to get the door latch replaced. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.
Thanks
