take to your local repair shop they will fix your screen or if it is in warranty samsung should repair it for free or give you a new one if they can't fix it
If you mean it shuts down then the battery is most likely failing, if you mean the programs stop running then try doing a memory dump, get rid of all the old data files you can. Transferring as much data to a SD memory card helps as well
you likely have software that is aftermarket you have added that is causing this hardware failure. if you set your tablet back to factory defaults does it still do this? I had a samsung that would occasionally do this, and I finally stopped installing cheap free games and other add-ons.. stick with reputable companies and don't trust your tablet to any developer that wants to write an app.
