It is very possible that the earphone jack is defective and causing the problem. I had a tablet that would not make any sounds through the speakers after I plugged into the earphone jack and then removed the plug. I could hear only through the earphones after that. The problem was caused by a fault in the earphone jack. I had to send the tablet back to the manufacturer where they replaced the faulty jack. But before you send the tablet back to the manufacturer make sure that the tablet isn't muted by going to "settings" then go to "sound" and see if it is turned down or muted.
what did you clean them with ? water?, bad move. you should only clean your electronics with acceptable electronic cleaning solutions,
or Rubbing Alcohol on a lint free wipe very lightly saturated then swing the cloth around in the air for a few second to make sure its not dripping wet, but very lightly damp. then make sure all units are off with no current flowing through. also make sure that you DO NOT turn them on straight after let them dry completely. ( when applied to items should see a streaking not an overall wetness.(if overall wet, you've used to much) drying time is based on wetness.) Use hair dryer if necessary.
Good Luck, try the dryer on the headphones. including the tablet plug in area. you might have gotten water in it.too!
Hi Do you mean reset the Tablet? These Tablets don't have mechanical HHD they are IC's. If you want to reset the Tablet to factory settings use a small stiff wire such as a paper clip, eye end of a sewing needle. Push it into the small hole between the earphone & HDMI sockets on the side of the Tablet. Push the reset button to reset Tablet
First thing to check is your settings for sound. Go into settings and click on sound . The options are there. Make sure it's not on mute or something similar. Try changing the setting. Next is plug in your earphones in the jack. If that works then your jack is open after you take the jack out. If none of this works then a connection to your internal speaker has come loose or off.
I am not familiar with your unit. Just standard stuff on all tablets is what I am suggesting.
Hi have you try different headphones? If it still don't fix the problem you need to replace that socket or if your tablet got Bluetooth use this insted.
