SOURCE: bsa superten problems firing

Give BSA a call at: 01494 676740 If you're not in GB, it's an overseas call.

I know it's a dumb question (maybe), but are you sure the bolt is fully advanced and locked and the safety's off?

SOURCE: car wont roll forward or back even in neutral

I assume it's a manual transmission.
If the car will not roll backward or forward in neutral (with or without the clutch engaged) the transmission is most likely locked in two gears at the same time.
This may happen if gear selectors are excessively worn. If you are able to examine the gear selection levers external to the gearbox, ensure they are in the 'neutral' (no gear selected) position when the gear lever is in Neutral. If not in correct position, you may be able to manually reset the levers to correct neutral position and thereby unlock the gearbox.
In any case, if it's happened once, it will happen again, so get the gearbox and gear selection mechanism checked for wear or breakage.

SOURCE: Rear passenger window won't roll up after I rolled

These models are prone to corrosion of the winder cable mechanism due to water ingress from the window rubber seals being poor so, the money is on a broken winder cable. Hope this helps

My Tac-5 Recon marker does not shoot the paintballs. I cock the marker and after I pull the trigger I can feel and hear the spring action but no paintballs are launched. When I attached the CO2 tank I did...

take the hammer and bolt out, clean them and oil them with paintball oil (no motor oil or WD-40)
air tool oil also works, but besides paintball and air tool oil, never use anything else.

the bolt is in the front of the marker, it is what pushes the paintball from the breach into the barrel. the hammer will be towards the back. its been years since i have touched a tac-5

easiest way to oil is just to put a few drops in the asa (where you attach the tank) and dry fire with the barrel off a dozen times. this will get the oil everywhere it needs to be.

if you can take it apart and clean it i would still recommend that

Paintballs keep blowing up in my tippmann 98 custom HELP!

it could be a combination of a number of things.. most likely it has to do with the type of paint you're shooting; in regards to shell.. tippman guns are harder on paint therefore require a harder shell paint, also not all paintballs are exactly .68 caliber, meaning some a bigger and some are smaller.. could be that they're slightly to big for the bore of you barrell

Just bought a tippmann 98 act took it home went to test and it still broke like everyother ball. Is it the balls or possibily to much veloicity? does it make a difference co2 or compressed air?

The velocity adjustment is probably way too high.
This causes too much propellant to enter the firing chamber.
There should be an Allen screw on the side of the gun where
you can adjust the velocity. Try backing the screw out a turn and see what happens.
Here is your owners manual to help you.
http://www.paintballadvisor.com/manuals/Tippmann%2098c%20manual.pdf
CO2 is very hard on O-rings so if you can use air you are better off.
I use an A-5, Autocockers, Smart Parts Ions and more.

I was playing today and my 98 custom just started leaking CO2 from all the cracks it froze up and ice started coming out of the barrel. what happened and how can i fix it??

your tank loosened up, the co2 freezes the rubber seals they will have to be replaced, you can order a repair kit from the website, change out all the rubber seals on the gun and your co2 tank

When i put my paintballs in the gun and i aim down they fall out the top where they shoot from

Sound like your ball detent is gone or broken.

The detent is a tiny piece of rubber that keeps the paintballs in the chamber and from rolling out the barrel. It's a cheap part, but you will need basic knowledge of disassembling a Tippmann 98 to replace it.

You can find ball detents here!

Paintballs popping before leaving barrel

Well, covering the holes shouldn't cause the paintballs to burst like that. I'd make sure there isn't some aberration in the barrel but that may be hard to tell. Clean it thoroughly and hold it up to a light and see if you can see anything in the reflections inside. You can try to get someone to hone the barrel just a bit to see if that helps get rid of any small aberration(s).

You can try another brand of paint. The one you're using may be a bit brittle, or just around a while and brittle.

Also, check your chrono speed. Make sure it's not cranked up so high it's busting the balls.

You might try another barrel, but would be nice to see if you can fix this one eh. I'd try some other paint first after cleaning the barrel thoroughly.

Good luck!

Balls fall out of my tippman 98 custom when i put them in. what do i need to do to fix it?

There's a ball stop nubbin just in front of where the ball drops. You may have lost yours and you'll need to get another one.

If that's there it could just be the ball itself. Paintballs and barrels come in a variety of sizes, so you may have to sample a few different kinds to find what works best for your barrel and doesn't roll out the front on you.

Good luck!
