A small amount of oil is normal, but your description of spewing implies fuel in the crankcase oil.
Check the oil level and viscosity. If oil level is high and thin then it likely has fuel in oil. This oil fuel mix is what is being vented.
The typical cause for fuel in oil is a stuck carburetor float, stuck carb needle valve, or debris in carb needle valve.
Remove carburetor bowl and clean. Check float and needle operation. Reassemble carb then drain and fill with oil.
