Thia is a fairly simple machine, remove the 6 screws securing the base plate, once inside you can remove the blade assembly, be careful not to lose the small drive bush, once the blades are away the big drive gear will lift off the shaft, to replace the smaller gear is a little more difficult, you will need to remove the complete lower clutch housing, so remove the 4 screws from the housing and the screws from the anti vib springs, once the housing is away you need to hold the small gear and unscrew the drum from the other side, it is not easy to hold the gear, a pair of grips is probably the only way, once the drum unscrews ( it is threaded to the gear throuht the bearing ) the gear will drift out.
