To add a page, tap the empty page that has a + mark on it. Todelete the page, tap and hold, then drag it to the garbage can. you can select a new home screen by touching the house icon located on each of the pages shown. The home screen is the first screen that is displayed when the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 is unlocked.
to close a window on the internet option: at the top of the screen you will see a tab across the top of the screen just abouve where your web address box is. on each tab there is a small X by pressing the X on each tab will close each window.
You will have to do a factory reset, which will restore the default settings on your device.
1) With the device powered off, press and hold the Volume Up and Power buttons at the same time.
2) When you see the Samsung logo, release the Power button, but continue to hold Volume Up until the recovery screen appears.
3) Use the Volume buttons to navigate the menu and select wipe data / factory reset. Press Home to choose the selection.
4) Press Volume Up to continue.
Are you trying to wipe the data with the reset? This will get you back to factory settings. It is entirely possible that there are apps on the tab that need to come off and have caused a problem.
