What is the manufacture date for HUF205EA serial number 13510***********0056 HAIER 20.5 Cu. ft. frost free upright freezer? I asked it once and was told Dec 2/2076 which can not be right.

I have the same freezer and recently it quit freezing. The thermostat is my problem. I checked the power outputs to turn on the compressor and it was not there until i tapped on the thermostat. I am currently trying to find another thermostat

Check these two things first.  1.  Is there a thick frost buildup on the back panel at the bottom half of the freezer?  2.  Do you hear the fan running inside the freezer?  Let me know what you find.

Where do you see the water coming from ?

Yes you need to replace it,if dont will have bigger problems.

Is the compressor running the whole time? If so may have a problem with a refridgerant leak....check the compressor in the rear of unit, feel if its hot....may be as simple as a relay.
