30 weight Non Detergent Air Compressor Oil is what you should use, although any 30W Non-Detergent Oil would work. Quantity wouldn't be much since it's only 2 HP. As far as the breather plug/oil cap, you caould try FD & Sons Hardware @ 866-612-5454. They showed as being a Mincraft Distributor.

Hi. You need compressor oil. But if you can't find any try using motor oil. 5w 20 will do fine.
Good luck.

The air filter of my vespa 1/4 hp air compressor got lost. Can I still use it without that air filter part?

sure , if you want dust to get inside and wear out the moving parts
for the time being just put a bit of foam rubber over the opening and tape it in place

I had a 1/4 hp vespa air compressor, motor is running well but no air getting in to storage tank.

Do you have an air leak or the compressor may be bad and not pumping air. as it runs.

What kind of oil do i need for a craftman 1 hp 3 gal 125 psi compressor m/ n 921 153101?..

For warm climate, use 30wt non detergent oil (lowest price $3). Med priced oil ($5), use compessor oil sold at Lowes or any major center store including Wal Mart. Compressor oil is special blend for higher temperature range (continuous use). High price oil, synthetic compressor oil works for heavy duty use under severe conditions (also sold at major lumber centers, cost about $8~18).
For lite duty, any oil that you have handy will work fine (check oil before every use). Good luck
