Not all WiFi networks are actually connected to the internet - you could try connecting to different networks, or get closer to the access point. Sometimes, with mobile devices like phones and iPods, it tells you you're connected to the network but the signal is too poor and you end up not being able to actually do anything on it.

You can buy a wireless router for $50 to $100 these days. That really your only option unless you can talk a neighbor into sharing.

Here's the useless response from Aluratek customer support:
"Failed to lookup DNS, the password is case sensitive, if you are using upper lower case letters you have to key in the correct case otherwise you won't be able to connect your radio. Thanks."
However, Aluratek advised another AIRMM01 owner to obtain a newer modem. I bought a new Actiontec GT724WGR Wireless DSL Modem and that resolved the problem with my AIRMM01F.
