A 1998 is a first generation Durango. As long as it is a standard model anything up to 2003 should fit. **NOTE** The second generation model was brought in for 2003/2004 so make sure any parts are Not for the newer Second generation model. Keep all your parts to models from 2002 or earlier and they should fit.

Finding a manual for a 50-year old diesel generator will be difficult. However, if it needs service I would look online for a commercial service provider who has been in business for many years and is experienced in diesel generators. Look online for generator repair companies. While it's still unlikely they'll have a manual for it, most likely they will still be able to provide service for it. I also have a PM52-2000. Since I keep the generator outside, I have ruined more than one carburetor over the years by letting water get into it. I have found perfectly good replacement carburetors for it on eBay by simply searching for Tecumseh 5 HP Carburetor. Today, I searched on eBay and found 142 of them, all new, some costing as little as $18.00. I just finished installing a carb I bought off eBay last year. It fit perfectly, adjusted easily, and runs perfectly.
