Network printing properly, ip address pinging properly, in the command center host name,ip address, user id and password given properly, but when scanning come error 2101. what should i do? please help me to get ride of this problem..

You probably have a network card called a IB-30 installed. You will need to reset this card by changing the jumper from is original position to the next one. This will restore the original factory settings, there are only one jumper on the card. If you still have the CD your IB-30 came with it will explain to you under troubleshooting how to restore the factory defaults.

you have to have a user name and password set up on the computer you are scanning to then you set theat up in the address you set up on the copier.

A hardware error usualy indicated a bad network cable or a bad network card. Have you tried using a different Cable?

I reset the IP adderss to another printer on the network and it worked so it looks like not all printers are compatable

The network cable is disconnected or the hub that it is connected to is not operating properly. Check the cable and the hub. Otherwise, the server name or the host name of the SMTP server is
not set correctly. Use COMMAND CENTER and register the SMTP server name and the host name
correctly.
2204: The E-mail size exceeds the acceptable send data capacity. Decrease the size or resolution of the scanned data to be transmitted and resend the E-mail. 5101, 5102, 5103, 5104, 7102, 720f:
Turn the main power switch off and back on. If this error occurs several times, make a note of the displayed error code and contact your service representative.(Refer to the corrective action for the error message " An error has occurred.")
9181: The scanned original exceeds the acceptable number of pages of 999. Send the ecess pages separately.
