Usually it is.. this equipment is a very low quality Chinese one. I solved using a different connector from one universal Targus power supply for laptops. But it could cost you more than buying a new tablet. However, if you need to extract some info from it and you don 't want to use an additional power supply, there is a way to put a tiny aluminum band paper around the plug to press the contact inside. That will last while you don't pull the plug again... very impractical but only for emergency.

Leave the password field blank in accounts

Connect it to your PC via USB cable, then start iTunes.

I have similar problems with my Targus keyboard connection to ipad w/ ios 7, but not yet found solution. In my situation, connect can only be made after a complete power down. Keyboard is on; Bluetooth is on; iPad says it has discovered and connected to the Targus Versavu Keyboard, but keypad does not respond.

You can't , the only solution is replacement either thru Targus one yr warranty, or go to the store and just buy one. They work great when new. In a short time they drag and the tip soon rips. I contacted Targus , they couldn't advise me of anything to treat this tip problem, and avoid it dragging, leading to it ripping. I hope to find a different brand that won't have this problem. When I contacted Targus, they acted like I was the only person who ever had this problem. They were willing to look at warranty replacement. But I really don't want to be bothered with that every few months.

Can you get into the bios, and change the boot order, make the CD Drive the first boot device. Make sure your CD is a bootable CD.
