Had the same problem, this fixed it!

I had the same problem.....The start/pause button would flash during a cycle and the washer would not finish the cycle. After reading on this forum that there is a filter/strainer inline with the drain, I tried this solution.
Remove the (3) screws that hold the lower front panel (Just below the door)
Once the panel is removed, you should see a white plastic strainer hooked to the washer drain.
Please a large bowl under the opening and unscrew the knob/handle, pull the filter/strainer out and clean all of the lint/trash out of this area.
My filter/strainer was clogged with a baby sock, 2 doilies, a fewe pennies, 2 dimes and lot's of lint.
I believe all of this debris was causing musty odors in the machine as the lint would stink due to dampness.
Once I cleared out this filter/strainer the problem and my odors went away
I wish GE would add this "EASY" step into the owners manual for proper care and maintenace.
Thank you for letting me know about this filter/strainer as it did resolve my problem

Hello,
The error code E10 is in relation to low water pressure.Have you checked that the hose at rear is not kinked or check the filters in the ends of the hose. Also make sure when you have hose off check the pressure in the supply. If all that is ok then it could be a faulty solenoid valve.
Hope this helps.

HI. What you are experiencing at this time is a basic control fault that may be easily corrected by a hard reset. This procedure consist of simply unplugging the unit for five minutes, then plugging the unit back into the power outlet after the five minutes have passed.
Now; If the hard reset does not produce positive results, this will confirm that the power relays have failed. These relays are mounted on the main control board. This severe damage will require you to have the entire main control assembly replaced, asap. The necessary part number for your new replacement control assembly will be WH12X10355. Click on the part number to be directed ot the purchase page. To help guide you through this necessary repair detail, i have posted the proper service manual for your unit below this text. Click on that link to download the entire manual to your web browser. I would advise to save the PDF file to your HD, for safe keeping and future use.
