It's a 55 LG, it turns off by itself and then this morning I could 't get it to stay on
Did you power it on. Please send me your address and the name of your power company. I'll call them and have someone check the power lines.
Need a model number. But I already know the problem. This is not an easy fix as told on You Tube. Under warranty would replace the panel (TV Screen). Replacing LEDs are next to impossible. I fixed these with warranty. Thanks for asking, Matt of Martins TV.

You have some dried out capacitors on the power supply. Samsung has a major issue with this right now and I made a tutorial for that repair in my Tips & Tricks. Your capacitors will not be the same, but identifying them and replacing them will be. Best advise I can give you: Stop using the TV and unplug it until you get it fixed. When these caps go bad, they draw down the voltage they are filtering. I've seen some TVs that had secondary damage because of this. I hope this was of some assistance, best wishes.
