Why does my canon t2i camera say movie recording has been stopped automatically

ok. I took off the 6 small screws holding it together, inspected it to see if it was anything obvious and easy and but no. I seen the small switch inside and figured it was at fault and needed to be replaced. (yeah right! like that could be done) then put it back together and so far the problem is gone. now i just have to wait and see if it stays that way. so far so good.

Just to the right of the viewfinder is a silver button with a red dot in the centre. This will start / stop recording. Set the camera dial to Auto, press the red dot button, and your recording will start. When ready, connect the camera to your computer with a USB cable and the movies will download at the end of the still pictures.
You might find recording suddenly stops after a while - this is because of a size limit for movie files. You can get over this by changing the resolution that the camera records at. It's quite complicated so I suggest checking the user manual or downloading it from the Canon webiste to choose what quality if resolution to use.

Most cameras require a card that writes data fast in order to keep up with shooting movies. If your card is slow, you might consider buying a faster (albeit more expensive) one.

This is a yes and no answer. I personally would not use his flash on any of my digital cameras due to not knowing the "Trigger Voltage" one shot out of this could fry the flash circuit board of my camera.
The flash will not TTL or i-TTL with the new flash systems nor will it synchronize properly. However yes you can use this flash as a slave (using a electronic photo cell as a trigger) it will fuse a full burst power and you need to adjust it near or away from the subject to adjust the amount of light. It can prove a real pain but it will flash just not from the camera unless you use a special WEIN accessory to restrict the trigger voltage BUT the WEIN is over $100.00 so why not just get a flash that work with the camera. You would need a Canon EX type flash something like the Canon 420 EX II will be fully compatible with the new T2i.
