Testimonial: "I followed your instructions and now I’m just putting my machine through a cycle so far so good, I’m from Australia ???? and our closest repair person is a couple of hours away, so as you can imagine he charges an arm and leg to look at it. And that’s before he even puts parts and more labor on to his bill. So you have saved me heaps thank you so much ??"

not familliar with that exact model number ( we dont have that over here in the US) we have simalair f&p gwl10- gwl11) that problem sounds as if either the pump is bad and overheating before pumping all the water or a diverter valve is not fully closing allowing water to remain in tub.

take top off. set it going and give the drum a push by hand. if it starts and keeps going then the fault is the motor capacitor - cheap part

Unplug the machine have someone tilt the machine back and look under the machine for a little fan on a motor give it a turn to see if it spins it might just be sticky or it may need replacing.

hi there the first thing ill tell you is that the washer needs to drain water before it can spin there are only a few factors that prohibit this operation a faulty lid switch secound a blown or blocked water pump being a fisher paykel they are famous for jammed water pumps as they decided when they built the sysyem to turn the water pump upside down this causes a lot of stress on the water pump see if you can lay the hose on the ground and get all the water out i belive the machine will then start to spin dry. in this case it is the water pump and have it replaced its a simple operation if you can order the part fromf/p you simply turn the washer on its side depress the white latch next to the pump turn the pump clockwise till ity release from machine disconnect power supply plug and fit new unit as per reverse
best of luck
