Sounds identical. Kenmore dryer model 110.86572500. Stopped running, Code F-26. Won't start. What does code mean, and what do I do to fix it!

Check or Repair Needed = Check the lint screen filter and clean of any lint. Remove fabric softener buildup on the lint screen if necessary. Clear lint blockage restriction from the air vent exhaust system.

What is error code F30?
Kenmore elite oasis st dryer - has power but won't run. Thermal fuse is NOT where I expected from videos I have watched.

The F30 code is a false code. It does not mean anything. The dryer will work fine. When I worked for Whirlpool, this was a programming issue. I owned the same dryer. It displayed this code and engineers explained this to me. The dryer worked fine.

The F-26 error refers to the motor drive system, you will need a multimeter to diagnose the problem. Your start switch, belt switch and door switch. Check the belt first. the idler pulley could have gone bad and the belt slipped off or broke. try the door switch button by pushing it in and listening for it to click.

If the door has not been opened for 3 consecutive cycles or the door switch is open while the door is locked for 5 secondes.

Possible Couses/Procedure
* Door not open during consecutive cycles.
1.- Open and close the door.
2.-Veryfy CCU operating by running a Diagnostic test or any cycle.
3.- Check door switches contacts.
4.- The resistenve of both door coils (between pin 1 nad 3) should be aprox 320_O_

F-26, is a door lock switch error code. Some things to try; Unplug the washer for 1 minute and see if the error clears. If not, try entering the diag mode by pressing any key except pause/ cancel. Press for 4 seconds and release for 4 seconds 4 times. If entered correctly, all lights should light and the first error should appear. Press the same key to advance through all the errors. When the errors finish. It will start an automatic test mode that tests all componets. The first thing it will test is the door lock. If this fails you more than likley have a door switch problem. cant seem to find a fault code f 26, if you remove the top panel on your machine there should be a tech sheet explaining most f codes on the right side in an envelope, if not remove bottom panel (its in there somewhere)
