Sony BRAVIA DAV-HDX265 Changing the region code

I need to change the region code of Sony BRAVIA DAV-HDX265 home theater system. Is there any successful way to do it?

Some how i accidentally child locked my Sony DAV-HDX265. how do i unlock it.

  • AH, well lets fix that.
  1. Press "System Menu"
  2. Press the Up arreo ^ or dowm arrow v repeatedly until "CHILD LOCK" appears.
  3. Press ^ or v to select a setting for "OFF" or "ON."
  4. Now press the "+" button and the setting is changed to your selection.
  5. Press "SYSTEM MENU" again to exit.
  • To remove a disk while child lock is on
  1. Press the "eject button" on the remote and press "DISK SKIP" repeatedly until the desired DISK indicator [1-5] lights up.
  • If you have any comments please feel free to leave them here.
