SOURCE: Just purchased a Vizio 37" HDTV with Netflix app
The Vizio does not have Internet capabilities. You need to hook up a computer via the VGA or HDMI port. Then youor computer controls what you do with the intenet.

SOURCE: the tv goes on but the apps display with netflix,
Try restetting the TV by unplugging for 2 minutes then retrying it. If it still fails then there is most likely a failure on the main board in the TV
SOURCE: We bought this tv because
Its not your TV its Netflix. Go to Netflix Watch TV Shows Online Watch Movies Online and find the support link.
There is a good chance the remote is defective. You may try installing Netflix from the channel store and and using it like other channels. The other thing would be to uninstall Netflix and then reinstall it. It is possible the info for login is corrupt or the Netflix contact on the remote is bad. Hitting the reset button should not cause any harm but will restore the remote to it's original state. If you know someone with another Roku, any model , try that remote to prove it. Good Luck!
SOURCE: Netflix has stopped working unable to watch
check all the setup perimeters especially that the TV is set for the right setting like HD1 or HDMI1
