1. When your printer reports a paper jam, open the tray carefully. A message appears - Has the paper moved at all forward? Has it moved like 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch out of the tray? If so, you may require a torque limiter.
2.It is very easy to fix this issue. POBCM works when a block indicates that the rear of the paper tray moves when it is closed. This is the first cause in most cases.
3. You can view a 41.3 code displayed on the screen if the block is not at the rear of the tray.

SOURCE: HP 1320 duplex printing paper jam

Managed to solve this myself: I disassembled the printer and noticed there was a paper jammed in the duplex tray. Rolls were all ok, but the paper blocked the use of the duplex pathway. For disassembly help check the HP 1320 service manual, which you can find on the net as a PDF.

SOURCE: HP 4200 printer paper jam. No paper is jammed

check this out....when the printer reports the jam, open the paper tray very carefully and slowly.

Has the paper moved at all forward? Has it moved like 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch out of the tray?

If so, you probabaly need a torque limiter, no tools, $10 or so and a very very easy fix.

POBCM is very correct when he points out that the block/stop in the back of the tray moves when the tray is closed with too much force and this is the #1 cause most of the time.

You may see a "41.3" code displayed if the block is not up to the back of the paper and the paper is not all the way forward in the trays, and under the two metal clips at the front of the tray.

SOURCE: How to clear paper jam at the back of Kyocera Mita

if paper is stuck in the back... then you have to take the machine apart... its messy but its just how it is... as for two sided printing... I would call kyocera support... they could best advize you on that... and they are quite friendly...

My Epson L200 printer all light flasing what to do?

Hi there
The first thing I tend to do with any fault on a computer or related hardware, is to turn it off, unplug it from the power supply, turn off and unplug the rest of the system components. Wait for a few minutes, plug the equipment back in and turn all components on and then reboot the computer. After this I start to look elsewhere for fault diagnosis and repair.
In your case I have looked at the users' guide here:
Support Downloads Epson L200 Epson
and clicking on Users' Guide near the bottom of the page. This is a pdf document which can be saved to your computer for future reference. The left hand side of page 2 shows a troubleshooting table, and it looks like the fifth column from the left is the one with all lights flashing, and the guide says that this is a paper jam. On the other side of page 2 is a procedure for removing a paper jam. Be very careful around the interior of the machine not to do any damage, but also inspect very carefully, using a good torch to look into dark corners of the interior, to ensure that there are absolutely no little scraps of paper in the mechanism to make your problem ongoing.
Good Luck

Paper jams at toner cartridge, printer service maintenance kit installed

Paper Jam clearing: copy and paste the link in your web browser...I used to work with these printer's..when they work great, when they don't, not so great..

https://www.manualslib.com/manual/949165/Hp-Laserjet-5000.html?page=84

Clearing Paper Jams If the printer's control panel displays a paper jam message, look for paper in the locations indicated in Figure 22, then see the procedure for clearing the paper jam. You might need to look for paper in other locations than indicated in the paper jam message. If the location of the paper jam is not obvious, look first in the top cover area. When clearing paper jams, be very careful not to tear the paper. If a small piece of paper is left in the printer, it could cause additional jams. If paper jams are a recurring problem, see page 78.(A paper jam message might also display if the rear door is open.)

The top cover of the printer must be opened and then closed to clear a paper jam message.Paper jams can occur at the following locations:Output areas(top and rear)Go to page 75.

Loose toner might remain in the printer after a paper jam, but thetoner should clear after a few sheets are printed.

Fuji Xerox cm205fw keep getting paper jam message

Just for any others with this question, I have been plagued with the same problem with my CP205 and CM205 printers, and discovered with the CM205 that it does still have a small scrap of paper left in the end of the paper path, near where it ejects. This can't be seen if you are looking inside the printer from the back door, hence anyone thinks it's clear, but if you open the main top door, by lifting up the control panel, and shine a torch down there, that's where you will probably find the small scrap of paper, which is stoping the printer from working. I managed to remove mine with a set of small tweezers. It would help if the machine could give you a more accurate error message, eg, lift the TOP door and remove paper jam.

Cheers, Vaughan

Printer screen showing paper jam. There is no paper jam.

Hi, this is a well worn path.

I know its a bore, but follow this, with your CSI Torch open up the rear access covers and look in carefully look. Satisfied replace cover, lift scanner lid, again using your CSI Torch check out the print area for a little peice of offending paper, if needs be try moving the rollers but gentle.

If no, left side hidden away, gentle move the print head carrige to the left there is every possibilty you will find a sodden inkedpeice causing the problem.

If still no paper, then as a lasrt resort reinstall the printer prog, it could be corrupt.

Did you have a paper jam that cased the original error message, if so then the odds are there is a little peice causing the problem. Good Luck.

Peter.

Lexmark X83 all-in-one printer

Hi gerby, need to eliminate a few issues to get to the cause. First, check for a jam. Paper jams can be so tiny you can barely notice them. Use a torch and check thoroughly down back of unit in paper feeder, open cover, let cartridge carriage roll left and settle. Now look inside thoroughly too. If no jam, check rollers are even and look same on each side. Post back if no good.
