Also bad bearings
I just finish repairing my LG front loader and this sounds like the same issue. The back of the drum has a spider arm and spindle arrangement (think that the name) the spider are was corroded and broke after 10 years, this puts the drum off balance and chews up the gasket. I had to also repair the wash tub where the drum had worn into it and JB Weld worked fine. It all seem to work fine now.

Only two possibilities. Either the motor has not been installed properly (it's out of alignment), or the intermediate pulley is out of alignment. Of the two, I'd suspect the intermediate pulley first (except then you'd expect trouble with the secondary belt too...). If you've already solved the problem, perhaps you'd post a comment to let us know what you found.

SOURCE: I had the valve cover gasket changed on my 1996
on a v6 ? Low on oil? rear cam plugs leaking? The lifters are on the end of the rocker arms and may get clogged. I have had some luck running 0w30 mobil synthetic for about a week or so with a new oil filter [Not a fram filter] and after that put 10w30 synthetic oil back in and a new filter. Check for oil leaking at other locations. If the noise is at the front of engine near water pump it may be the hydraulic timing belt tensioner.
