I have one sitting in front of me , unfortunately I cannot get it to you but will be happy to tell you the positions. It's not very difficult to fix and I will stick by until you get it correct. I hope I don't complicate this in an attempt to keep it clear and don't be insulted by my answer. I am guessing you don't have a great deal of experience working inside the box and it can become confusing. This is much easier than the length of this answer suggest. You will do this in about 30 seconds, move anything that is in you way and make a note of where it came from. If your hand is small you are lucky but don't force anything and if you are pushing on anything trying to get down there see what it is before pushing more. Better to move it.

There is a front panel connector that is on the bottom right of the board if you orientate the board by placing the computer access panel in front of you with the front of the computer facing to your right. Then right below the floppy disk controlled socket (the smallest flat cable in the box) if no floppy the empty socket below the battery.
There is a double row of pins, looks like 2 rows of 10 pins each. Mine are multicolored, pink and green etc. and the should be marked + and minus, at least plus. The number 1 pin is on the left. The 1 pin is actually the bottom left and the 2 pin is above it. Back down to the bottom row and pin 3 is right next to 1 and the 4 pin right above it. Pin 3 is the second pin on bottom left. Follow the way it goes? The bottom is 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19 and right above 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20.

Pin 2 is + so put your Power SW on pin 2 and 4 with the colored wire on pin 2. Colored wire in the pair should be positive, and it can be blue, red, green, mine is red and white.
The Power LED goes right next to the Power SW on pins 6 and 8, the colored wire on pin 6, mine is blue and white. And finally the HDD LED goes on pin 7 and 9. All counting from the left to right. My pins are not marked as I think its not critical how the LED is connected and if it does not light then reverse those 2 pins. My colored wire is on pin 7 and its blue. May as well finish, the Reset button is wired to pins 17 and 19 with 17 being positive and the speaker if you have one hooked up (your tiny internal speaker not for listening to music) is a 4 pin connector with the middle 2 sockets empty and fits over the last 4 pin s on the bottom right. 13, 15, 17, and 19. Pin 13 is +. There may be other wires but I don't know where they go depends on what they are but this is what you need. Good luck. And make sure all is unplugged and touch the box to ground yourself or wear a strap. Look but don't touch is a good rule for now.

First off, is the motherboard actually the problem? If your motherboard has failed, the screen may come on and you may have some sort of raster (brightness) but thats as far as you get. Power supply failure is (in my experience) more common than mother board failures (usually) and may exhibit the same symtoms. Also a bad battery on the motherboard will cause funky things to happen on boot. (clock not right/failure to recgonize hard drives, etc). If you are certain a motherboard is a fault you should replace it ( unless you are VERY fluent in soldering/desoldering surface mounted components and component level repair and have a solid understaning of digital and D.C. circuits) More often than not, replacing the entier motherboard is cheaper and less of a hassle.

Booting problem

either the internal video on the motherboard has failed or the video card has failed. look at the back of the unit if the video port is twords the bottom then it is a removable card if it is at the top then it is integrated and you will have to dish out money for a replacement mother board

NO BIOS

to get bios set up you must press DELETE key or F2 to enter set up...
you do this at the time of the booting ....
if your bios is corrupted then you can restore the bios by changing the bios jumper to restoration mode to do this refer to your motherboard manual...
