I have a Durabrand -1002 DVD player and my kids lost the remote. I was given a GE Universal remote but no booklet on either. How can I program the DVD player onto the remote? The number inside the remote's battery chamber is RC24912-D 5727 and JC021. Please help me. It would also be great to be able to add my TV as well. It's a Sears SR-3000 model number 564-48126750.

I wish I had the code, but no. If it is forthcoming then it will be via a hacker, or someone who gets lucky. I just got an email back from lenoxx customer service (the guys who made the 1002 ... at least, the one I have) and they have gone bankrupt:

I too have a remote that no loger works; one of the components snappped off (past repair) while my wife was simply changing tracks on a cd.
